Nine Inch Nails frontman Trent Reznor is reportedly working on a score for a Fight Club rock opera.
The reports come from a Jeff Goldsmith podcast with Fight Club author Chuck Palahniuk this past weekend at Comic-Con – confirmed via Goldsmith’s twitter. Palahniuk announced on the podcast that there would be an opera based off the novel. Reznor will be working with the Fight Club film’s director David Fincher on it.

Reznor has worked with Fincher scoring some of his previous films, such as Gone Girl and The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. Reznor has also been working with Apple, Dr. Dre and Jimmy Lovine on improving the Beats Music app and iTunes radio, and was most recently received a Rock N’ Roll Hall of Fame nomination.
No official confirmation from Palahniuk has been made, so stay tuned.
