Mew has released new video for their single “Witness.” The video features Mew fans that the band called on via a Facebook post. Video director/producer Theis Molin recounts what the experience was like:
“It was great working with the fans – so much love, affection and energy. We did 13 takes, and the intensity grew with every one. At the end, the fans had been doing the equivalent of about two weeks worth of working out. This shoot is one to remember.”
Throughout 2015 Mew has been hard at work releasing new material. In addition to the release of the single “Witness,” the group also released videos for their singles “Water Slides,” “Satellites,” and released their latest album +/-, to name a few.
Earlier this month, Mew’s Bo Madsen left the group. Mew and Bo Madsen released an official statement about his departure, but not particular reason as to why he made the decision to go. Guitarist Mads Wagner has taken Madsen’s place.
