The Neighbourhood is an American rock band formed in Newbury Park, California. The band first released their song “Female Robbery” in 2012, causing an internet stir as listeners tried finding who these musicians were. Fans have been drawn in since the beginning by the mysterious and dark imagery created in the band’s work. Led by vocalist Jesse Rutherford, the group mixes rock instruments with R&B and hip hop in forming their music.
The band’s second single, “Sweater Weather,” became the #1 song on Billboard’s Alternative chart. With their reoccurring theme of black and white presented in their art, the band released a mixtape in 2014 called #000000 & #FFFFFF (HEX color codes for black and white). Playing main stage at a variety of festivals, the group has been featured at events such as Coachella and SXSW.
Bad Suns and Hunny will play as support to The Neighbourhood. Bad Suns and Hunny are alternative rock bands that hook fans with their clean but powerful vocals. This impressive lineup will begin touring this fall.
