Andrew McMahon In The Wilderness is an American indie-pop act. Singer/songwriter McMahon began the project in 2014 as the next progressive step in his music career. Each of the four members took interest in music at a young age and have continued ever since. Together, they have toured all across North America and have recently released a self-titled album. Their first single, “Cecilia and the Satellite,” was inspired by McMahon’s newborn daughter and later became a huge radio hit.
New Politics is a rock band formed in Copenhagen, Denmark. The trio began writing music together before officially becoming a band in 2009. They set off on their first UK tour and later performed nationwide on a US tour. Now based in New York, the group has experienced great success and a rapid growth of fans. Lead singer David Boyd is known for his backflips, stage climbing, and high energy in all of their live shows. Their third album, Vikings, is set to release in August of 2015.
The two bands will begin The Wilderness Politics Tour in early October with LOLO as support. Fans can anticipate a night to remember with this talented lineup and mix of music from each artist.
