Lydia @ Parish 9/18

Lydia is an indie-rock band that includes talent from Leighton Antelman, Matt Keller, and Justin Camacho. Members began writing songs and booking shows as early as 7th grade. Since then, they have been featured at highly anticipated events such as Vans Warped Tour and Bamboozle Festival. Today, they continue to tour extensively across the country with a variety of bands.

Their most recent album, Devil, was independently released in 2013. They later added a deluxe extension to this album that includes new and acoustic versions of songs. In total, Lydia has written over seven albums and EPs. They have recently announced their work on a new unnamed record set to release near September of 2015, right around their headlining tour dates. This record is said to be “more moody” than their previous albums, but closer to what encompasses the band most.

Lydia takes pride in experimenting with their sound, believing diversity is essential to their success and spirit as artists. Inspired by musicians such as Kanye West and Queen, Keller says, “I feel like everybody would dislike us if we were safe.” Lydia plans to add a few throwback songs to their setlist while also adding some surprises for fans in their upcoming tour. The Run Wild Tour will begin in the fall with Seahaven, Turnover, and The Technicolors as support to Lydia.
