MYRKUR (Amalie Bruun) has released an official video for her single “Onde Børn.” The single is off of her upcoming debut full-length album, M, due for release on August 21 via Relapse Records.
Earlier this month, Relapse Records posted “Hævnen,” the first single from the upcoming album on SoundCloud. As the second piece to the puzzle of what MYRKUR’s upcoming album has in store, “Onde Børn” will not disappoint. The single begins with a fierce intro. MYRKUR is seen in a number of shots as guitars furious play in the background. It does not take long for a switch in vibes, as MYRKUR’s rhythmic voice takes over as the initial melody takes a back seat. Throughout the video, MYRKUR is traveling. Filmed in Thy, Denmark her surroundings are stunningly beautiful and add to the feelings of searching and self-discovery.
In addition to the release of the new video, MYRKUR will perform at Denmark’s Roskilde Festival on July 4. This performance will be her first ever live performance. Other live performance dates for MYRKUR include her appearance at the Midgardsblot Metalfestiva in Borre, Norway on August 22.
