Fireworks is a pop-punk band from Detroit, Michigan. The group consists of talent from Brett Jones, Chris Mojan, David Mackinder, Kyle O’Neil, and Adam Mercer. They began back in 2005 when they signed to an independent record label. Through this, they released their first EP, We Are Everywhere. The group quickly picked up to tour across the country with bands such as Four Year Strong and Set Your Goals.
In 2009, Fireworks released their debut record, All I Have to Offer is My Own Confusion. New Found Glory’s own Chad Gilbert helped produce the album after the band signed to Triple Crown Records. Through extensive work, Fireworks toured with a vast amount of artists all over the Europe and Australia. The group later joined Van’s Warped Tour in 2012, playing every show of the summer.
The band is said to have “well-written punk with an undeniable sense of melody.” Their sound ties pop with edge, bringing fans from all corners of the rock music scene. With their newest album, Oh, Common Life, Fireworks will begin touring with Weatherbox and Dry Jacket as support.
