The Sloss Music & Arts Festival is a two-day event that will take place for the very first time next month. It will be held on Saturday, July 18th and Sunday, July 19th at Sloss Furnaces National Historic Landmark in Birmingham, Alabama. Showcasing over 30 bands, the festival will not only be lively and fun, but also rich in creativity and culture. Along with two days of endless entertainment, it will feature regional craft beer and specialty cocktail scene and spotlight an assortment of delectable food. The Sloss Metal Arts Program, a group of professional artists, will be at the festival casting iron and allowing the public to take part in hands-on iron pouring. In addition to this, festival-goers will have the opportunity to graze through hand-screen printed posters made by the most significant poster-makers of the current, chat with artists, and even purchase posters. The combination of food, art vendors, and music will create an experience perfectly suitable for lovers-of-the-arts and others looking for a new and exciting adventure.
