Cold War Kids at KROQ Red Bull Sound Space

Cold War Kids filled KROQ’s intimate Red Bull Sound Space in Culver City, Calif., on June 10 with a boisterous mid-day set broadcast live on the station’s website. Hosted by DJ Kat Corbett, the band answered questions before their seven-song set with lead singer and original member Nathan Willett recounting the most embarrassing story from his days as a substitute teacher. For the dedicated group of fans who waited for hours outside the studio, the band played a sampling songs from four of their five studio albums, including their radio hit “All This Could Be Yours.” Cold War Kids will be touring throughout the US this summer, including stops at Riot Fest in Denver and Chicago’s Lollapalooza.
