Electronic duo the Tings Tings have been forced to cancel their upcoming summer tour due to a medical issue, according to the band’s press statement.
Lead vocalist and guitarist Katie White has been issued by doctors to rest the tendon in her left hand, which was recently diagnosed as ruptured.
“Really sorry to be cancelling our U.S. tour. My left hand has been playing me up for a while and unfortunately, it finally decided to throw a tendon tantrum,” said White in the statement. “We tried to scale back the upcoming shows to avoid making it worse, but unfortunately, I have a torn tendon that the doctors have said only rest and physiotherapy will heal… back soon.”
