Southwest Terror Fest 2015 Lineup Announced Featuring Sleep, Acid King And Brothers Of The Sonic Cloth

Tuscon, Arizon based festival Southwest Terror Fest released its final lineup earlier this month. The most popular acts featured are Sleep, Acid King, and Brothers of the Sonic Cloth. Amigo the Devil will also be making special appearances.

SWTF, which will be taking place October 15-18, will be held at 191 Toole, The Rialto Theatre, and Club Congress. These venues are located in historic downtown Tuscon, walking distance to the University of Arizona, and form the core of the Southwest music scene. This will be the fourth time the alternative rock festival has rocked the center of Arizona’s cultural capital.

This festival is noted for its diversity of acts, who are not mainstream, but rather enjoy cult followings. Acid King is, sensibly, acid rock, while Brothers of the Sonic Cloth can be better characterized as heavy metal. Even stranger, Amigo the Devil is a banjo-playing “murderfolk” artist, who has basically created a genre of his own.

Expect the festival to be warm, full of young, rambunctious bodies, and a journey into the underbelly of American rock n’ roll. Check out the lineup below to see if that one band that only you know about is playing this October.
