JD McPherson and Sarah Gayle Meech will be performing at the Santa Monica Pier on July 30 as part of the Twilight Concert Series presented by radio station KCRW, which can be found on the air in LA, Santa Barbara, Ventura, Mojave, Palm Springs, and via five KCRW-developed smart phone apps and online at kcrw.com.
JD McPherson is a Broken Arrow, Oklahoma native who is known for his rock and roll, rhythm and blues, and rockabilly style. He has released two studio albums, his latest being Let The Good Times Roll which came out this past February. His debut album Signs and Signifiers won the Best Rock/Hard Rock Album award from Independent Music Awards in 2012.
Sarah Gayle Meech is a Nashville-based country artist, who has successfully blended the city’s nature, spirit and seasons into a beautiful soundscape. Her songwriting themes reflect the small town and people with grit. After moving to Los Angeles for ten years she honed her writing skills and decided to put down roots in Nashville.
