SBTRKT Says Disclosure Is Copying Him

SBTRKT recently responded to the announcement of the release of Disclosure’s sophomore album, Caracal, and accused the artist of copying him. Via social media, SBTRKT pointed out the similarities between both artist album cover art work and song titles.

Through his series of Tweets, SBTRKT points to number of incidents which he draws on to justify his conclusion that Disclosure is copying him. Disclosure’s new album Caracal includes the picture of cat found in the wild, SBTRKT points out that his album Wonder Where We Land also features an exotic cat. Additionally, SBTRKT notes similar song titles such as his song “Wildfire” and Disclosure’s song “Wild Life.”

FactMag notes that SBTRKT was once accused of ripping off poster for a Jacques Greene show. Claims were made that the color scheme of Wonder Where We Land was too similar. Disclosure has not commented on the situation. The full series of Tweets from Pitchfork can be viewed below.
