Yamantaka // Sonic Titan have announced that they have a new lead vocalist and a new guitarist who will replace two former members in those roles.

Co-founder and former lead vocalist of Yamantaka // Sonic Titan Ruby Kato Attwood and former guitarist John Ancheta are no longer performing with the group. Joanna Delos Reyes will be taking the role as the new lead singer and Hiroki Tanaka will be the band’s new guitarist. Yamantaka // Sonic Titan will begin recording their third full-length studio album this month and it will be their first time in the studio with the new members.

Their last record, Uzu, was released in 2013. Following that release, they played Austin’s SXSW Festival in 2014, Austin Psych Fest 2014, the Netherlands’ 2014 Le Guess Who? and Jabberwocky 2014 in London. Yamantaka // Sonic Titan plans to play a few live dates in Toronto and Montreal during summer 2015.
