Marian Hill @ Union Transfer 10/1

When Marian Hill performed at Boot & Saddle back in December, they did so to a decent-sized audience. But this was before their SXSW performances took audiences by storm. This was before all of their upcoming festival gigs. Come April, the duo would perform again at Boot & Saddle, but this time to a sold out crowd. And now, they’re moving on to a bigger venue, leaving the Boot behind for the larger Union Transfer. You can catch the Philly favorites when they take the stage at UT on October 1st. Grab your tickets while you still can!

The duo, which consists of singer/songwriter Samantha Gongol and producer/songwriter Jeremy Lloyd head out on their fall tour this September, kicking things off in DC. They’ll travel across the US and Canada before ending things on the 25th of October in Vancouver. They’ll also be playing alongside Mac Demarco, Parquet Courts, and The Suffers for Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Connor Barwin’s upcoming charity concert. Barwin’s Make the World Better Foundation hosts the event (also at UT) on June 20th.

Wherever you decide to catch Marian Hill this year, now is the time. The pair are quickly gaining momentum as more fans become familiar with their music. Their immensely catching songs are racking up a ton of plays on Spotify (already over 22.5 million streams) and their track “Got It” has been featured in the trailer for the film “The Longest Ride,” attracting an even wider fanbase for the relative newcomers.
