Iceland Airwaves music festival is back for a cool landing with a plethora of the world’s top performing artists in 2015. The festival has been rocking stages since 1999 in an airplane hangar and has been dominating in platforming some of the new hotness through out Icelandic music and the globe. Earlier this week Iceland officials released the third round of bands for the festival including Maryland’s dream pop duo Beach House, English rapper Skepta, electronic pop singer QT, experimental indie-rockers Battles and garage knockers Sleaford Mods. Iceland’s powerhouse rock band Mammút, Vök and many more will be joining the stages to bring a future sold out show fans do not want to miss.
Björk’s performance at Eldborg, Harpa, Saturday, November 7th at 3pm will be included in the Iceland Airwaves 2015 ticket price.
