Mac Demarco is a Canadian singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer. He his best known for his solo work which he has released three full-length studio albums, Rock and Roll Night Club, 2, and Salad Days. His style is best describes as slacker rock, psychedelic, and blue wave.
Salad Days was released in 2014 and was lead by the single “Passing Out Pieces.” The album received the title for Best New Music by Pitchfork. Captured Tracks also announced a subscription series titled The Wonderful World of Mac DeMarco 7″ Club Vol. 1. Subscribers would receive two 7″ records every six to eight weeks containing various recordings by DeMarco.
Most recently, DeMarco made his first talk show appearance on Conan, where he performed his new single “Let Her Go.” The song is the leading single of his new mini album Another One set to be released this summer. The second single released is “The Way You’d Love Her.”
