Making Time XV w/ Viet Cong, Lower Dens, & Shamir 6/12, 6/19

Making Time is celebrating their 15th Anniversary and to celebrate they’re putting on not 1, but 2 totally “rad” shows. Both of which go down at Voyeur this June. As usual, the events will feature DJ sets in addition to the main acts. Grab your tickets now and make sure you’re there for what is already being billed as “HYPER-RAGERS!!!”

First up on June 12th, don’t miss Viet Cong and Lower Dens. Viet Cong hails from Alberta, Canada and have been making music together since 2012. Their debut EP was self-released in 2013, but the band truly came to prominence following a stint at SXSW. They released their self-titled debut album in January of this year via Jagjaguwar. Lower Dens have their origins a little closer to home, hailing from Baltimore, Maryland. They formed back in 2010 and have since released three albums, the most recent having been released in March of this year. Catch them both on Friday, June 12th.

They’ll switch things up, genre-wise, with their second show, which will Shamir and will take place on Friday, June 19th. Shamir, aka Shamir Bailey, hails from Las Vegas. He released his debut EP in June of last year. And then signed to XL Recordings in October. His debut LP, Ratchet, is expected out in a few days. Both shows are on sale now over on Ticketfly for just $10. Tickets for both of these shows are limited, so don’t sleep on this one. You’ll definitely want to head to Voyeur both nights for what is sure to be a great show.
