Ben Folds is an American singer-songwriter and record producer. For five years, Folds was the front man and pianist of the alternative rock band Ben Folds Five. After the group temporarily disbanded, Folds performed as a solo artist and has toured all over the world. The group reunited in 2011. He has also collaborated with musicians such as Will Shatner and Weird Al Yankovic.
Folds owns and operates the historic RCA Studio A, once managed by Chet Atkins, and the home to thousands of legendary recording sessions in all genres of music – from Elvis Presley to the Monkees, Dolly Parton to Kacey Musgraves, Tony Bennett to the Beach Boys, Brian Setzer to Hunter Hayes. The studio is Folds’ creative hub, where he composes, collaborates, produces and records his works, as well as those of others in the industry.
His most recent project, So There, is his upcoming project with yMusic.
