Shock rock band Gwar announced that Kim Dylla is no longer a member of the group.
Dylla – who played the character played the character of Vulvatron, a buxom Scumdog from the distant future – was released from the band, following their fall 2014 “GWAR Eternal Tour.”
However, Dylla’s departure does not mean that Vulvatron will cease to exist, according to Blabbermouth.
In a comment to Blabbermouth, Brent Purgason, slave of the recently defrosted intergalactic barbarian Pustulus Maximus, said: “Kim did a great job, but we wanted to go a different direction with the Vulvatron character. You will absolutely see more of Vulvatron in the future, just not portrayed by Kim. There is no ill will, no acrimony, and no drama. We respect Kim’s talent without question, it just isn’t what we needed in the character.”
The character of Vulvatron was described as, “genetically engineered to the optimum proportions for a female of her species.” And, she was said to have emerged from “the year 69,000, where she was a high-ranking Scumdog assassin in the battle against futuro-fascist forces. Her primary functions included the mastery of the arts of war, quantum mechanics and intergalactic musicology,” according to Blabbermouth.
In related Gwar news, the shock rockers are set to kick off their “30 Years of Total Domination Tour,” later this summer. Everything begins on August 25th in Millvale, Pennsylvania, and the tour will wrap up in Rochester, New York, on September 18th, 2015.
