ACL Live at The Moody Theater is hosting an event to celebrate 2015 Austin City Limits Hall of Fame inductees including, Asleep At The Wheel, Loretta Lynn, Guy Clark, Flaaco Jimenez, and Townes Van Zandt. The evening will be hosted by Dwight Yoakam. The evening will consist of performances by Lyle Lovett, Gillian Welch, Vince Gill, Jason Isbell, Patty Loveless, Laura Marling, Los Lobos’ David Hidalgo, Los Texmaniacs and JT Van Zandt.
The Austin City Limits Hall of Fame recognizes performing artists and individuals who have been instrumental in making the long-running show a music institution. The first annual event took place last year and honored Willie Nelson, Stevie Ray Vaughan & Double Trouble, Darrell Royal, Bill Arhos and Lloyd Maines. This year’s special night will consist of a photo gallery, timeline/anthology mural and an interactive online library of Austin City Limits content.
Austin City Limits and the Austin City Limits Hall of Fame are produced by KLRU-TV, Austin PBS. KLRU is a non-profit organization providing public television and educational resources to Central Texas as well as producing quality national programming. Net proceeds from this event benefit KLRU.
