You know them from their hit single “Rather Be,” and now Clean Bandit are headed to Philly. They’ll be performing at Underground Arts on June 15th. They recently played at SXSW and followed that up with their 2nd tour of the US. They’ll be doing a run of summer dates, including stops at GovBall and Firefly. But if you want to catch them in an intimate (indoor) setting, you’ll want to head to Underground Arts on the 15th of June.
Clean Bandit formed back in 2008, at the time as a string-quartet. They’ve come a long way since then, with their killer dance-pop anthem “Rather Be,” which spent four weeks at number one in the UK. They followed that success with “Real Love,” another happy anthemic tune. They even won the Grammy for Best Dance Recording this year.
The group is currently riding high off of the success of their 2014 release, New Eyes. But track “Real Love” is part of a special re-release of the album, and is actually the group’s 7th single to date. Clean Bandit played Underground Arts back in September of last year, so if you missed them then you’ll definitely want to make sure you’re in attendance this time around.
