The band Django Django will be releasing their newest project Born Under Saturn on May 4th in the UK, and on May 5th everywhere else. Today the English Electronic band put forth their latest effort in the form of a track by the name of, “Beginning To Fade.”
Django Django’s newest cut “Beginning To Fade” was actually written by the bands bassist Jim Dixon while suffering writers block. The relaxing song features a pretty steady instrumental backing with the guitars, percussion, and other various instruments sticking to the same pattern throughout. The vocals laid on top of the track are done so with ease, and are soothing on the ear. The video displays scenic shots of the band and random parts of nature through multi-colored lenses. This affect adds to the calming vibe set out by the song, and helps the viewer connect deeper to the song. The visual helps get the viewer in the mood as this song “Beginning To Fade” is different from most of Django Django’s work. Django Django is known for blending genres in the areas where certain pieces from whatever genres overlap. In this case soft rock is met with the baseline that could be prevalent in some jazz or blues songs. Overall the track is nicely done, and has a marvelous power of changing the listeners mood almost instantly.
Recently Django Django released a new song titled, “Reflections.” The group also put out a visual for their song “First Light.”
