Florence + The Machine have released a new video for the track “Ship To Wreck.” The song is from the group’s forthcoming album, How Big How Blue How Beautiful.
The video being with Florence standing still as the rain pelts down on her. The music kicks in, as she then appears in her messy apartment and looks completely disheveled. During the course of the video she seems to regret the night, as she fights with her male counterpart. Over and over she asks, “Did I build this ship to wreck?” Time is moving backwards, as the audience gets a glimpse of what happened. In the final scene, Florence is back at the beginning of the video, fighting herself to prevent the night she caused.
