Atlanta trio, Migos, will head to Philly this May in support of their upcoming debut album. Their “Yung Rich Nation” tour kicks of May 1st in Milwaukee and makes its way to Philly on May 8th. You can catch Migos with support from OG Maco at the Trocadero. The Yung Rich Nation tour will see the trio heading to 23 stops across the US before finally wrapping things up at the end of May in San Francisco.
Migos is truly a family affair. Members Takeoff and Quavo and nephew and uncle. And Offset is Quavo’s cousin. Their debut album, YRN Tha Album, drops on June 16th. The release is set to feature the likes of heavyweights like Lil Wayne, Meek Mill, and Chris Brown. They’ve already collaborated with a slew of artists, including Busta Rhymes, Justin Bieber, and Philly’s own Meek Mill. But the group is perhaps most famous for their track “Versace,” made famous by a remix from Drake. In addition to the release of their album, the group will also be releasing their 90s inspired clothing line, Yung Rich Nation.
The trio’s Quality Control Music labelmate, OG Maco, will open the show on May 8th. OG Maco just released his EP 15. It features his hit single, “U Guessed It,” and totals out at “you guessed it” 15 tracks. OG Maco has been on a roll lately releasing a ton of new music, in the form of various mixtapes and EPs. Head to the Troc early to catch his set before Migos take the stage this May!
