Update: According to Spin and Billboard Black Sabbath invited Bill Ward to rejoin the band for their final performance.

Black Sabbath has set an official date for their final show. According to Billboard, the group will perform the second day of Ozzfest Japan on November 22 at Makuhari Messe located outside of Japan.

Last year Ozzy Osbourne confirmed that Black Sabbath would produce one final album and go on their final tour in 2015. The Legendary 70s metal group is getting older and the members have dealt with difficulties along their journey. Most notably guitarist Tony Lommi has been battling cancer.

According to Stereogum, the Sabbath lineup will include Osbourne, Tony Lommi, and Geezer Butler. Unfortunately, the lineup does not include drummer Bill Ward at the moment. Reports state that Ward had a financial dispute with manager Sharon Osbourne a few years back. However, Ozzy Osbourne would like to keep hope alive that Ward will rejoin the group for their final performance.

Once the group’s reign finally comes to an end, Ozzy Osbourne expects to dedicate his more of his time to solo work. More information and updates about Black Sabbath can be found on their official website.
