The second phase of Detroit Movement Festival 2015 has been revealed. Thus, Detroit big May dance party gets way more interesting.
Well-mentioned by Consequence of Sound – throughout the festival’s 10-year run, Movement celebrates techno, house, and hip-hop with a diverse lineup featuring genre trailblazers, cult favorites, and talented up-and-comers. From dance-punks !!! to Method Man, from legendary Squarepusher to Hudson Mohawke – all of this was added to the inital lineup which included Disclosure, Boys Noize’s Dog Blood, Snoop Dogg, performing as DJ Snoopadelic, and many others.
It is also stated that the festival as well includes Ghostly International Day celebrating the Ann Arbor-based indie label, as well as Konkrete Jungle Detroit featuring a full day of Drum & Bass music. Disclosure will also curate a special installment of their Wildlife Festival.
Movement 2015 takes place May 23rd – 25th at Hart Plaza in Detroit. General admission and VIP passes are now available through the festival’s website.
