Foxygen has announced tour dates for their Farewell Tour set to begin March 28 with dates through August. The group made the announcement via their Twitter account.
“THIS IS OUR FINAL TOUR. bye bye we love you … THANKYOU so much to r family, friends, managers, label and most of all YOU,” Foxygen’s Twitter status reads. The duo recently released their sophomore album, …And Star Power, last year.
According to Stereogum, this announcement has created some confusion over the status of the band. It seems that logically a farewell tour would hint to the end Foxygen. However, despite internal drama that has plagued the duo in the past, there is still hope. Stereogum claims that due to a Tweet Foxygen favorited, the group may be using this tour to end the …And Star Power period of the group, but Foxygen will remain together.
The current tour dates for Foxygen’s Farewell Tour are located below. Any additional updates or information about the group can be found on their official website.
