It’s been 50 years since the Scorpions started their music career and journey, and they still show no signs of slowing down. The Scorpions will be playing at the Forum to honor five decades worth of heavy metal and hard rock. They are one of the most successful rock artists of all time, releasing a total of 18 studio albums and 74 singles to date.
The current lineup includes Rudolf Schenke on rhythm guitar, lead guitars and backing vocals; Klaus Meine on lead vocals, guitars, and tambourine; Matthias Jabs on lead and rhythm guitars and backing vocals; James Kottak on drums and backing vocals; and Paweł Mąciwoda on bass and backing vocals. The group’s latest release was Return to Forever this past February, which reached #2 on the German Top 100 charts.
The Scorpions are best known for their anthem “Rock You Like a Hurricane” and the ballad “Wind of Change.” Though it still uncertain which songs they’ll choose to play at The Forum, their most recent show included songs from Crazy World, Lovedrive, and Love at First Sting.
