Slipknot Guitarist Mick Thomson Sent To The Hospital After Allegedly Being Stabbed By His Brother

Mick Thompson, a guitarist for the Grammy-winning band Slipknot, and his brother, Andrew, have been hospitalized after an knife fight that was reported earlier today.

The fight occurred in Clive, Iowa at Mick’s home. Mick is said to have received a stab wound in the back of the head. That’s right, in the head. The injuries of both brothers were as serious, but non-life-threatening. Both Mick and Andrew were supposedly drunk when police arrived on the scene. No report has been given about the cause of the fight or the nature in which it commenced.

Slipknot recently announced their “Prepare For Hell” tour alongside Hatebreed. The tour was scheduled to kick off in North America this April. In addition to the spring tour, the band had also added on a separate series of shows that they announced as their “Summer’s Last Stand” tour with several other acts including Lamb Of God, Bullet For My Valentine & Motionless In White.

We hope the both of them have a solid recovery.
