After announcing the release of their sophomore album back in January, the Austin alternative rock band Ume has kept fans happy with continuous influx of new material. So far, they have provided us with the brand new single “Chase It Down” and a psychedelic visionary experience with the “Black Stone” music video.
On Tuesday, the 3-piece band comprised of guitarist/vocalist Lauren Larson, drummer Aaron Perez and bassist Eric Larson revealed that a six-track EP is in the works. Too Big World will be available April 7th via Dangerbird Records. Among the list of tracks is a cover of Neil Young’s “Hey Hey, My My (Into the Black),” a rendition Archers of Loaf’s “Web In Front,” and unreleased b-sides from recording sessions in collaboration with producer Adam Kasper.
