You know the enigmatic PC Music label had to make an appearance at SXSW 2015, and they’ve delivered with an entire showcase at Empire Control Room! The polarizing dance music label/collective/art movement? is bringing an impressive list of its members, of course headed by producer A. G. Cook. PC Music has drawn criticism, admiration, and general confusion with its chaotic beats, sugary sweet vocals, and dark shifting rhythms, in an aggressively different genre that’s hard to classify, but is definitely making a splash – Spin magazine named it their “Trend of the Year” in 2014. If you haven’t happened upon them despite all the waves they’ve been making in music press, this show would be a great introduction. It features several of their top artists including QT, SOPHIE, Hannah Diamond, GFOTY, Kane West, and many more – read on for the full lineup, event details, and a playlist if you’re still not sure what you’ll be listening to!

The event page at sxsw.pcmusic.info, like the label as a whole, is both aggressively web 1.0 and modern, and of course shrouded in mystery. There isn’t much data other than the time and the lineup, but check it out for a soundcloud playlist of the performing artists. There is no RSVP link and Empire Garage posted it in their Instagram also with no details, so we’re not sure if this will be badges/wristband only: We’ll update this with any information we hear!
