Yahoo! has just added Failure to their list of showcase artists for 2015. This is the first announcement for their list of artists to perform on Friday, March 20.
Yahoo! is returning to SXSW this year with a series of must-see showcases at Brazos Hall. They’ve just announced that L.A.-based alt rock band Failure will be headlining their Friday showcase. Other artists to perform that night have yet to be announced. The music starts at 8:00pm (CT).
Failure has recently released a video of the recording of their upcoming album which is set to be released early this year. This will be their first studio album in over 18 years. They released the track “Come Crashing” back in May of last year. The band also kicked off their PledgeMusic campaign alongside the album announcement in January.
In addition to this Friday showcase, Yahoo! is also set to host several other impressive lineups:
Tuesday, March 17, their music showcase features acts like Milky Chance, LANY, and Buffalo Sun.
Wednesday, March 18, they’ll be behind Atlantic Records’ Loud Pack Showcase featuring performances by Ty Dolla $ign, Kevin Gates, Curren$y, DJ Drama, and many more.
Thursday, March 19, will feature Black Joe Lewis, Heartless Bastards, and Delta Spirit, and
Saturday, March 21, will feature Young Thug and Travis Scott.
