Sam Smith is an English singer songwriter. He rose to fame in 2012 when he featured on Disclosure’s breakthrough single “Latch,” which peaked at number 11 on the UK Singles Chart. He later featured on Naughty Boy’s “La La La” which was released the next year and hit number one on the charts.
Smith recently won four Grammy Awards including, Best New Artist, Record of the Year, Song of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album at the 57th GRAMMY Awards. At the 2015 Brit Awards, Smith won British Breakthrough Act and Global Success. With hit songs like “Stay With Me” and “I’m Not The Only One,” his success is not surprising. Smith is embarking on a national tour and will stop at the Erwin Center Saturday, August 15. Don’t miss it!
