Huge news today as Future Islands releases a huge new addition to their list of upcoming shows in 2015.
Baltimore-based Future Islands is scheduled to perform alongside The Flaming Lips at the Moody Theatre at SXSW 2015 in Austin, TX on March 15. This is an enormous add-on to an already impressive schedule of shows this year. They’re already set to perform with Portugal the Man in Austin two days later on March 17. They’re also scheduled to play at Hangout Music Festival in Gulf Shores, AL May 15-16 and Way Out West this year in Gothenberg, Sweden August 13-15.
The Flaming Lips have been making a lot of noise recently as well. They are now playing Clouds Taste Metallic in its entirety during its 20th anniversary in 2015. In addition to SXSW 2015, they will also be playing at Psych Fest in Austin, TX May 8-10 and Victorious Festival in Portsmouth, England August 29-30.
