Recent Grammy-winner Beck will be performing in several cities around the U.S. in May, including stops at Alabama’s Hangout Music Festival and the Boston Calling Festival in Massachusetts.
Beck will be hitting the road in May, stopping in Alabama, Tennessee, South Carolina, Virginia and Massachusetts. He recently won the Grammy for Album of the Year, for his 2014 album Morning Phase. During Beck’s acceptance speech, Kanye West rushed the stage in a moment reminiscent of Taylor Swift’s win at the Video Music Awards in 2009. West has since expressed regret about his actions at the 2015 Grammy Awards.
Beck also released a Song Reader album in partnership with eyeglass company Warby Parker in 2014. The album came two years after Beck’s collection of sheet music known as Song Reader, and featured tracks by Norah Jones, Jack White and Juanes, among other artists. In fact, Jack White is a frequent collaborator with Beck, including both live performances and studio recordings.
Beck has also worked with Jenny Lewis, covering “Do Ya Think I’m Sexy” by Rod Stewart, and he performed at artist charity The Art of Elysium’s Genesis show, along with names like Cat Power and Santigold. To see where you can catch Beck live in 2015, see the full list of dates below.
