This spring, rising pop talent, Kiesza, is headed out on a her first headlining tour of North America. The Canadian singer-songwriter will kick off her The Sound of a Woman Tour on March 30th in Atlanta. She’ll head to Philly this May for an appearance at The TLA. And she’ll be bringing along a very special guest, who recently headlined her own show at The TLA. Join Kiesza and Betty Who when they take over the stage on May 12th!
Kiesza is out supporting her second full length album (her first on a major label), and the inspiration behind the tour name, Sound of a Woman. The album was released in October, and so far Kiesza has released four singles from the album, the most notable being “Hideaway.” She wrote her first song when she was 18, as a way to cope with her parents’ divorce. In addition to her own work, she has also written for the likes of Rihanna, Icona Pop, and Kylie Minogue.
Like her tourmate, Betty Who also released an album this past October. Her debut release, Take Me When You Go, was a big success for the 23 year old performer. You’ll of course recognize the hit song, “Somebody Loves You,” which was an inescapable tune throughout much of last year. In addition to her own tour, Betty Who was also busy supporting Katy Perry in Australia last year.
