Spirit Club, a project from Wavves frontman Nathan Williams, his brother and Sweet Valley Collaborator Joel Williams, and Fantastic Magic’s Andrew Caddick, are gearing up for a self-titled debut Album for this spring. As a preview the have released a video for “Duster.”
Consequence of Sound ran a story on the latest video release, just another merit for the quickly producing and supplying group. Started in October, Spirit Club punk rockers have released a handful of tracks The new song, and video act as great propaganda to use in order to reaffirm the slight changes in song that the groups sound better. Beginning with what looks like a generic news broadcast, followed by shots of a beachside memorial.
The punk edge sound mixed with the common alternative pop fuzz plays well off of the humor of a late night Ouija board and calling heaven “tight!”
