Providence-raised noise rock duo Lightning Bolt have released a first single off their upcoming eighth record Fantasy Empire, out March 24 via Thrill Jockey.
Described by brooklynvegan.com as “intense and punishing,” the song seems to be a source of all the evils on Earth. From sinister whispering to intensive screams, suicidal one-note guitar solo and the crushing drum beat, elements of prog rock and even electronic motives, the song is indeed a one piece horror movie.
