Following their undeniably successful debut album, Alabama Shakes is readying for the release of their sophomore album this April.
After the release of their Gold-certified debut album Boys & Girls, rockers Alabama Shakes have revealed that they will release a follow-up album this year. Sound & Color will debut in North America on April 21 through ATO Records right after the UK/Europe on April 20.
Listen to the album’s first single “Don’t Wanna Fight,” on the band’s website at www.alabamashakes.com as well as on YouTube. Pre-orders for the album have officially launched on iTunes, Amazon, their website and on the ATO Records webstore.
“Sound & Color demonstrates the tremendous strides made by Alabama Shakes since the release of 2012’s Boys & Girls. From the gently swaying, chiming title song to the garage-rock freak-out on “The Greatest” to the psychedelic space jam “Gemini,” Alabama Shakes build on the soulful blues-rock base and map a surprising, innovative new direction,” raves a press release.
Don’t miss Alabama Shakes live at multiple music festivals this year including Bonnaroo and Coachella.
