The European leg of the band’s upcoming tour has been called off due to health complications. Read the band’s official statement here.
TV On The Radio has been forced to cancel the first part of their 2015 tour after their drummer, Jahphet Landis, was hospitalized. The tour is in support of the band’s latest album titled Seeds. Shows in Italy, Switzerland, France, Belgium, The Netherlands, Germany, Iceland, Scotland, and England have all been scratched. The band recently added a large American portion to their tour which has remained unaffected. They’ve just released this statement at a recent press conference:
It is with much regret that due to a health emergency, TV On The Radio have been forced to cancel their upcoming Europe/UK tour which is due to start this Friday. Drummer, Jahphet is in the hospital; he will be ok but is not able to travel at this time. TV On The Radio would like to apologize to their European & UK fans and appreciate everyone’s understanding and well wishes for Jahphet at this time.
Among their U.S. tour dates, TVOTR is also scheduled to perform at Buku in New Orleans, LA, Shaky Knees in Atlanta, GA, and Hangout in Gulf Shores, AL.
