Spring Awakening Music Festival continues its expansion, and has announced its 2015 lineup adding a new fourth stage. Following huge success in 2014 with 100,000 people in attendance, this year’s lineup seems to be even brighter, with absolute headliners like Paul Van Dyk, Tiesto, Diplo, Zedd and many others in charge.
Held on June 12-14 in the already traditional place – Chicago’s Soldier Field, Spring Awakening will actually wake you up, with over 75 national and internationally touring artists spanning all genres of dance music. As stated in the press release, Paul Van Dyk will headline the Trance Arena, with dubstep producer Zomboy taking over the Bass Kitchen stage, and Hot Creations Records own Jamie Jones headlining the Beatport Stage.
Along with the outstanding headliners, many of Chicago’s local artists will also be represented, with SAMF continuing supporting regional talents.
As previously announced, in 2015 SAMF will be an 18+ event, so please leave the kids at home in case you’re coming.
Over the years, Spring Awakening has grown from a series of concerts in 2008 to a major electronic and dance music event, making Chicago one of the main American summer dancefloors. With performers like Moby, Knife Party, Benny Benassi, ATB, Above & Beyond and others playing at SAMF in the past years, Spring Awakening has become a highly desirable performing spot for some of the finest dance artists all over the world. Thus, expect for an amazing portion of fun at this year’s event.
