Cashmere Cat is a Norwegian musician, producer, and DJ. He appeared on the international electronic dance music scene in 2012 with remixes of Lana Del Rey, 2 Chainz and Jeremih. He has appeared as a featured artist and producer on Ariana Grande’s 2014 album, My Everything. He is also one of the opening acts on her 2015 world tour The Honeymoon tour.
Cashmere Cat’s debut EP Mirror Maru was released in October 2012 on Belgian Pelican Fly. The track “Mirror Maru” was included on the Grand Theft Auto V soundtrack in 2013. Cashmere Cat’s edit of 2 Chaiz “No Lie” was ranked in VIBE as number one on a list of 25 Awesome Genre-Benders.
Cashmere Cat currently works with Benny Blanco, LidoLido and artists like Jeremih, Miguel, and Wiz Khalifa. He also does live performances at festivals and clubs in the US, Europe and Australia. His most recent EP, Wedding Bells, was released by LuckyMe in the beginning of last year.
