PHILM Announce Spring 2015 Tour Dates

Los Angeles’ PHILM have announced headlining tour dates for spring 2015, beginning with dates in North and South America, then moving on to Europe.

PHILM is yet another band that former Slayer drummer Dave Lombardo is a part of, adding it to a list that also includes Fantomas, Grip Inc. and Amen. Though the bands all have elements of heavy metal, with Slayer and Fantomas being the most well-known, PHILM adds depth to it with some jazz, alternative rock and Middle Eastern sounds. Their sophomore album, Fire From the Evening Sun, was released in September 2014, so a lot of material from that album should be expected on this tour.

Lombardo joined Amen in summer 2014, just before they started tour and released another album. He also performed with metal supergroup Fantomas in December 2014, after they had been on a six-year hiatus. To see more from Lombardo, check out the full list of tour dates below.
