Delta Rae is headed out on tour this spring! Their “After It All Tour” kicks off with a few festival dates throughout February and March. Come April, the American folk rock band will make their way to Philadelphia with a headlining spot at The TLA. Grab your tickets now to see them when they head to our city on April 9th.
Delta Rae are out supporting the release of their second studio album, After It All. The album is set to be released on April 7th, via Sire Records, just a couple of days before they arrive in Philadelphia. That doesn’t give you much time to fall in love with all of the new music, but it does guarantee you’ll get to be one of the first audiences to hear it live. In anticipation of the new album/tour, Delta Rae released a short teaser video for After It All which you can watch here. It’s safe to say that fans of Delta Rae are enthusiastic about the upcoming release. Especially since the album has been a long time coming, having taken the band nearly a year and a half to complete.
Hailing from Durham, North Carolina, Delta Rae got their start back in 2009. It combines the talents of three siblings (Ian, Eric, and Brittany Holljes) and Elizabeth Hopkins, Mike McKee, and Grant Emerson. The group released their self-titled EP in 2010, debuting at Duke University. In 2012, they signed to their record label, Sire Records and released their debut album Carry the Fire in June of that year. In November, they dropped another EP which featured Fleetwood Mac’s Lindsey Buckingham. And now they’re back with fresh material and we’re excited to see what they have in store.
