Lady Lamb The Beekeeper has released a new video, featuring clips from Yvonne Anderson’s 1971 documentary Let’s Make A Film.
Stereogum has reported that Aly Spaltro, AKA Lady Lamb the Beekeeper, has released a new video for “Spat Out Spit.”
The video opens to scenes from Yvonne Anderson’s 1971 documentary, Let’s Make A Film, and features her lyrics set to the backdrop of children’s animations.
Lady Lamb The Beekeeper recently singed to Mom + Pop records and released “Billions of Eyes,” a single off her latest record, After.
Aly Spaltro started writing music in the basement of a video store she worked at when she was fifteen, and began distributing her home recordings in her hometown of Brunswick, Maine. In 2010, she was named Folk Artist of the Year by Boston Music Awards, and in 2013 she released her debut album, Ripley Pine.
Her upcoming album, After, explores themes of mortality, vulnerability, and leaving home, and will be released on March 3rd, and in the mean time, you can check her latest single “Spat Out Spit,” below.
