Cage The Elephant Announce They Are Working On A New Album

Cage The Elephant confirmed through their Twitter account that they are hard at work on a new, upcoming record.

Cage The Elephant are currently in the process of recording their fourth studio record, as confirmed earlier in their Twitter feed. Using a picture that featured a bunch of their guitars and other recording equipment strewn about a room, the caption reads, “Week 1 for writing album #4 in the books.”

Last year, Cage The Elephant performed on Day Three of the Bonnaroo Festival along with Frank Ocean and Lionel Richie. They also unleashed their killer album, Melophobia, which is up for “Best Alternative Music Album” at this year’s Grammy’s. With an upcoming record and what will hopefully be an upcoming tour, the successes endeared to the band from 2014 and 2015 will be so eerily similar that it will be difficult to distinguish the two years from the band’s previous history.
