The “Metal Monsters of Texas” showcase is back for SXSW 2015, bringing 10 of Texas’ finest metal bands to Dirty Dog Bar on east Sixth Street! Thanks to Come and Take It Productions, the showcase features Critical Assembly, Dead Earth Politics, Fire From the Gods, and many more, all free with RSVP… as long as you’re not a minor, in which case it’s $10. The event also features sponsor giveaways, and while we don’t know which sponsors are planning on showering the audience with gifts, with sponsors like Hoeks Death Metal Pizza, East Side Tattoo Company, All About Vapor, Come and Vape It, 101x No Control Radio, and Ultimate Local Music Worldwide we really hope it all comes in one package!
