Nashville rock band Turbo Fruits have released a new track called “The Way I Want You” from their upcoming album No Control.
“The Way I Want You” has a rhythmic, infectious sound. Patrick Carney of the Black Keys helped to produce and record the track, along with another song called “No Reason to Stay.” Turbo Fruits’ Jonas Stein says, “A lot of the lyrical content (both the song and the album) is about a relationship not working out. The lyrics are simple but heartfelt – about heartache and heartbreak.”
No Control will be available on April 20 both digitally and as a deluxe limited edition package on 180 gram vinyl with Turbo Fruits rolling papers, available in their store.
The band will be playing at the 2015 SXSW Music Festival in Austin, Texas. They’re no strangers to the festival scene – they played at SXSW in 2013 as well, and at the Savannah Stopover Festival the same year.
