Sublime with Rome is a musical collaboration between Eric Wilson (sublime), and singer/guitarist Rome Ramirez. The group performs song by Sublime which was originally fronted by Bradley Nowell until his death in 1996. The renaming of the band Sublime with Rome simply refers to Ramirez’s first name.
Ramirez first started performing with Sublime in 2009. The group played at the 2009 Smokeout Festival and embarked on their first tour together in 2010. As a group, they released their debut album, Yours Truly, in 2011. Yours Truly achieved critical acclaim after it’s release. Their single “Panic” reached number four on Billboards Alternative Songs and cracked the top 10 Rock Songs chart. Their two songs “Lovers Rock” and “Take It or Leave It” were also released as singles.
